They are not FDA approved and should thus not be used during pregnancy to prevent potential issues with the fetus.

This addictive substance is proven to cause issues with reproductive health, as well as the lung development of the fetus. The market is still relatively new and there haven’t been many studies that show whether these products are dangerous or relatively safe. Until more studies have been completed and more time has passed, we won’t be aware of the true effects of the chemicals that are used in e cigarette liquids. While existing studies have proven vaping is less dangerous than smoking cigarettes, the true impact remains to be seen once those who are vaping have reached the later stages of their lives. Until this point, it’s important for individuals to weigh the pros versus the potential cons to help them make the right choice for their future.
